We’re a boutique brand strategy agency looking for a Full Time Junior Brand Strategist to serve our portfolio of clients at Concept Bureau. As a Junior Brand Strategist in our group, you will be responsible for research, ideation, and creation of brand strategy deliverables in close collaboration with the team and the client. You will be trained in our research-based frameworks and systems, but we also expect you to be an integral part of helping us improve and expand our approach, which is something we are always doing. More than just building brands, our work is to push forward the very practice of brand building for our clients and wider audience.  

The right person for this role has two critical traits: 1) is an excellent researcher who knows how to compile large amounts of data and information into compellingly written arguments, and 2) is tapped into (and has a passion for) culture, subculture, consumer behavior and the market.  

We’re looking for preferably an LA-based team member (although we are open to non-LA based) who will work remote but is still available for in-person team meetings in the future. We offer full benefits and a collaborative team environment.

  • Conduct in-depth research of cultural trends, competitive forces, and user psychographics
  • Develop predictive insights that map out the future of a space in the 2-5 year horizon
  • Analyze insights and create brand strategy presentation materials for clients in collaboration with Senior Brand Strategist and Exec Team
  • Conduct qualitative user research and qualitative user interviews
  • Help manage clients and coordinate team members
  • Develop compellingly written brand strategy presentation materials for clients

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-4 years of experience as a marketer, junior brand strategist, analyst or similar role either at an agency or in-house for a brand, although we are open to less experience for the right candidate that thinks the way we do
  • Strong and persuasive writer – this is critical
  • Culturally tapped in
  • Exceptionally well-versed in social
  • Excellent research and analysis skills
  • Creative thinker, strong collaborator, and positive spirit
